Nestldown’s Minimony experience is designed for couples looking to celebrate their union surrounded by a small group of those closest to them. Set among 36 acres of California redwoods, gardens, and unique spaces, Nestldown offers a beautiful and meaningful setting to exchange vows, capture memories, and celebrate this special moment together.

Elopement & Minimonies
For couples who want something simpler, we offer two intimate packages. Both center on the ceremony, a celebration with the people closest to you, and time to walk the gardens. If you are hoping for a longer day, more guests or a larger setup, our full nine hour rental is the better fit.
Minimonies are open for 2026 and 2027, Wednesday through Mondays mornings (afternoons pending availability). For those looking for a simple celebration in the Gardens, this might be a perfect option! What’s Included
Elopement, 1 to 35 guests
4.5 hours on site, with your ceremony in the Chapel and reception in Apple Knoll. You may bring your own appetizers and champagne with a signed Food and Beverage Agreement and a $500 fee, or use a caterer from our approved list. Champagne is the only alcohol permitted under self catering.
Minimony, 36 to 100 guests
4.5 hours on site, with your ceremony in the Chapel and reception in Apple Knoll. A licensed caterer from our required list handles food and beverage. Beer and wine are available through your caterer.
Included in both
A day of Special Events Manager plus two Nestldown staff, our furniture inventory and 100 ceremony chairs, the five passenger golf cart, our built in sound systems, the 1967 London taxi, the life size chess set, two bocce courts, the Fantasy Cottage, set up of two boxes of personal items, and 15 minutes in our chandelier lit changing room at the start of your rental.
Good to know
Rentals run Wednesday through Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, or within three months of your date when no afternoon event is booked, a 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. rental may be possible.
Permitted vendors are catering, photography, video, officiant, shuttles and a DJ.
All food should be simple, quick bites that are easy for guests to enjoy while mingling. A seated meal, formal dining service, or buffet is not permitted as part of the Minimony experience.
No florist or dessert deliveries. No decor in the Chapel or along the ceremony paths. Up to six personal floral arrangements may be placed in Apple Knoll with approval at least 90 days ahead.
If the weather turns, the Barn is your included ceremony and reception space which includes a sound system.
An optional Sound Package is available for $600, which adds a Nestldown staff member to run the Chapel Sound System and provides a speaker for the Apple Knoll for use, when no DJ is hired.
