As much as we can, we’d like to offer Nestldown in support of you and the work you do. This spirit of giving back has been part of Nestldown from the beginning. Barbara’s father served with USAID and embodied a simple belief: leave the world a little better than you found it.

Our focus is on local nonprofit organizations serving people in times of crisis or transition, disabled or disadvantaged individuals, and those who dedicate themselves to caring for others and could benefit from time to rest and recharge.

We believe the most meaningful use of a donated day at Nestldown is when the property directly benefits the people you serve, whether through respite, connection, healing or simply time together. It may seem small compared with all that you do, but we are honored to help where we can.

Because we have a limited number of dates available each year, we are only able to offer Nestldown to a small number of nonprofit gatherings. We wish we could say yes to every organization, and we hope you’ll share a little about your work and how you envision spending your time here.

Our donated nonprofit gatherings are focused on community based, nonreligious and nonpolitical organizations serving those in need. Religious or political organizations interested in gathering at Nestldown are welcome to explore our Gatherings or Corporate Events options.

Hearts & Hands Spring Celebration

Pacific Clinics held its annual Hearts & Hands Spring Celebration at Nestldown. The sold-out evening raised more than $500,000 for its Bay Area programs, which each year serve more than 10,000 children, adults and families in Santa Clara County.

Garden Party: Pathways to Compassionate Care

Cancer CAREpoint held its annual Garden Party in the gardens at Nestldown. More than 350 guests attended, and the event raised over $1 million for Bay Area residents living with cancer.

Pivotal · August 2025

All Hands Retreat

Pivotal, which supports young people from the foster care system with scholarships, tutoring, internships and coaching, opened its annual staff retreat here. The day was built around rest, restoration and mental health — time for a staff who spend the year caring for others to be cared for themselves.
